# Cluster Creatures

A cluster is a collection of ultra-micro (fungi or bacteria), micro (insects such as cockroaches), or super-small creatures (rats, bats, etc.) that are seen as one creature in the way they move. A cluster has the nature of the individual species that make it up.
Cluster organisms generally have the following effects.
Cluster creatures have a uniform life value, a uniform first attack, a uniform movement speed, and a uniform defense. A cluster is also the same as a single creature when making immunity checks.

A cluster has no distinct front or back and no clear physical structure, so it is immune to site-specific attacks, to 8- and 9-plus dice, and to multiple attack reductions.

A cluster biome consisting of creatures of size 1 takes only half the damage dealt by a single attack that deals piercing or swinging damage. (After the damage is calculated and before damage reduction type abilities are calculated)
Clusters of creatures less than 1 in size are immune to single physical damage.

Clusters are immune to spells, abilities, and effects that target a specific number of creatures. Spells, abilities, and effects that affect the area may double the damage to the cluster creatures if they are damaged.

Cluster creatures do not occupy space and may be in the same position as other creatures. If the creature casts a spell while in the same position as a cluster creature, it takes a focus check.

A cluster creature has no reach and can only attack a target in the same position as it.

A cluster creature's attacks ignore cover, base defense, dodge defense, and block defense.

A cluster creature cannot be tripped, tackled, or rushed. A group creature cannot tackle another target.
If the group is defeated, 30% of the group is considered dead and 30% unconscious. A D100 is cast once when judging a particular individual: a result of 1 to 30 is considered dead, 31 to 60 is considered unconscious due to severe injuries, and 61 to 100 means the victim escaped uninjured.

When larger units form groups, they can also be considered cluster-like creatures (e.g. armies)
